Christmas at grandma's part 2

Okay so this will mostly be pictures b/c I take so many. After today my Christmas blogging for the year will be over. I am hoping the decorations come down today. Would like to get house back in order now!
Alexis got a lot of American girl doll clothes. This is a gymnastics suit for her dolls with a medal.
The boys had a few gifts that they shared but each time my mom would include at least 2 small gifts so they all had something to open during a given round.
Skylanders mega blocks
Cousin Cody
Nick got a few more Lego's. Big surprise.
Landon was fun to take pictures of b/c he was so dramatic.

I really needed new towels. Mine were looking pretty old.
If you can ignore the snot in Adam's nose this is a cute picture of us.
Alexis had written my mom a nice letter and was giving it to her.
Cody got some build and engine thing. This kid can put anything together and should be an engineer!
Limited edition Star Wars Lego
Cousin Caleb wanted a play thing for his cat. He got a deluxe version.
Landon
The trio got a large playmobil

Alexis got a box full of organizing stuff from the container store. My mom is coming over on Sunday to help her organize her room. Alexis does love to organize which is perfect for my super organized mother.

At my house Santa brought all the boys nerf guns but Adam got a bow and arrow instead. My mom worried that he was upset b/c he didn't get a nerf gun (he wasn't b/c he likes his bow and arrow) so she went out and got him this gift last minute.
NHL 13. Too bad there was no season this year for real.
My brother
My sister with clothing from 2 favorite teams.
My sister in law Kim with new shoes.
My brother got Nick this game b/c those two love to play Strateggo together so he went to a game store and asked for a game that was similar to this.

Nick got a necklace with a cross. He has been wanting one of these. I want a diamond cross necklace myself.
Everyone got a movie.

Pretty package

McKayla Maroney the US Olympic gymnast on vault was signing autographs at a Marsh near my mom's house. My mom went and got an autograph on the Corn Flakes box and put it in a shadow box for Alexis.
I guess Nick told my mom he wanted an icee maker.
The boys are starting to look tired b/c it had been hours at this point (b/c we go one by one, we stopped to eat twice.
Nick got another nerf gun.
Alexis got the new American Girl, Caroline
Cody
The trio got a floor golf thing
Caleb
Large Star Wars thing
Nick's favorite gift of the entire Christmas. This was the only thing he has talked about for weeks. He plays football on recess at school and now he has football gloves. He has hardly taken them off. Crazy expensive for gloves but he LOVES them.
Alexis got the American Girl camping set.
Clark made it around 7pm for a couple of hours b/c one of the doctors agreed to be on back up emergency call. It is so nice when they are willing to do that b/c you are not tied to 30 minutes. In 5 years he has never had to actually make them go in. He still takes all calls and would go in for anything not a true emergency.

Clark wanted a Luck jersey. He also got Luggage, a nail gun and compressor (really a large gift card to Lowes so he could get that part himself), 4 shirts, and one pair of pants.
Nick giving grandma her gift

I got a lot of WHBM clothes (my favorite store). My mom was funny b/c she bought all pants in 2 different sizes and then returned the size that didn't fit. Every year she gets mad b/c if it doesn't fit they usually don't have it anymore. This did work for most things I will say. I also got, towels, 3 running outfits from Dick's, large picture frames, new kids bathroom, pictures for wall in little bathroom, new Dansko shoes, coach shoes, new NIV study Bible, candles. I can't remember what else. Again mostly I get a lot of clothes...dress up work clothes.

Poor Ryan just really could not figure out the smile thing.

Landon giving Grandpa his gift

The boys got dress up outfits. They always love this gift.

Nick got new hockey goalie ice skates. This was in his top 5 of favorite gifts.

Ryan is that an almost normal smile. Love you kid!

Kids always have a book gift.

Usually my sister and I open the kids clothes at the end. This year Nick and Alexis wanted to open their own. Alexis always gets some cute (but different...b/c my mom likes to get things the other kids don't have) clothes.
Then my mom does a gift unwrapped in another room. Nick got new nice outdoor hockey net. Alexis got McKenna's bed (American Girl). The rest of the kids got plasma cars.

Finally close to midnight we were doing stockings.

So very tired at this point.

We had a great day at my mom's. I loved the themes, colors and all the gifts. I loved not being on call or working the day after. Probably one of my favorite years! The only thing I miss getting is a large box of scrapbook stuff BUT I just don't have time to do it much anymore.
